Northumberland
We are extremely happy with how our bathroom remodel turned out. When we first met with them, we stated our budget as much as possible. As Robert (the designer) and Jamie (the contractor) sat down with us to pan our remodel, they were very concious at every step of our budget and suggested things so that we won't go over our budget. They helped us shop for tile, granite slabs, vanities, fixtures, faucets, and many more. They also helped us in keeping the theme of our bathroom; which is traditional, but modern. In the end, as all remodels go, we went a little over the budget. However, the quality of the work is worth every penny we spent. From the detailed tile work, crafty hand work, and superb professionalism, I would recommend JRGI to any homeowner.  Janelle and Greg L.
The bathroom remodel on Northumberland was more extensive than just your standard update tile, toilet and a sink.  The existing bathroom was a half bath off of the main hallway in the house.  Being a standard tract home built back in the 50's with three bedrooms and one main bath, the second bath was only a toilet and a sink.

Space was limited in the house and especially so in the area where the hallway bath was situated.  The homeowners wanted to add either a bathtub or a shower to the bathroom without moving any exterior walls.  What we did to open up the area was steal space from the small closet and furnace area next to the bathroom.

A new furnace was located in the attic, along with next duct throughout the entire house.  Recessed lighting was added to the dark hallway and the bedrooms received an overhead light in the room and the closets.

For the bathroom, a 3' x 4' shower was added in the former closet space.  Built in wall cabinets were made to match the maple cabinet vanity.  The wall cabinets were mounted on the side wall versus in the front of the sink area.   Due to space constraints, putting a mirrored cabinet above the sink would have stuck out too far since the wall could not be cut into.  The side location was out of the way yet accessible for everyday items.

The wall tiles were similar in look to a travertine or limestone natural stone.  However they were porcelain which allows for very easy clean up and maintenance.  The exhaust fan was removed and a electric, self venting skylight was added.  This gave them more natural light in the room and much better ventilation than a exhaust fan.
